At Confrere, we support and assist our clients…

We are a Registered Building Control Approver (RBCA), approved by the Building Safety Regulator to provide building control approval services throughout England, as an alternative service to that by the Local Authority.

We specialise in the commercial sectors, working in many of England’s major cities, retail hubs and industrial estates.

Our name, ‘Confrere’, means colleague or comrade’. Whilst we cannot be involved in the design process, we can work with you, at your speed and can tailor our service, where possible to assist.

Our strapline “supporting compliance” means a range of things…

• We provide convenient plan check tracker reports, so you can monitor compliance.
• With each application we provide copies of all site visit reports and all fire authority responses, so you know exactly where you stand.

Supporting compliance also means that we can create bespoke CPD presentation to help the development of your teams. We can also formally present the plan check report to the design team to improve regulatory awareness at the outset of a project.

We understand that the regulations and requirements can be arduous and that you have many responsibilities. That is where we use our skills and experience to make the process feel easier. It is our aim to take away, where possible, the burden and provide you with the reassurance you need to allow your business to thrive.
